Training on Research Methodology for Department Officials
SHSRCK in collaboration with Achutha Menon Center for Health Science Studies (AMCHSS) and Department of Community Medicine, Trivandrum Medical Collage has conducted three-day training program on Research Methodology. The three day training program was aimed at building the research capacities of department officials and equipping them in the process of developing their research proposals, acquiring skills of data collection, analyzing their data, and publishing the research findings. The training covered the basics of quantitative and qualitative research along with sessions on data analysis, report writing and ethical issues in research.
Training Program on Health Insurance and Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CHIS)
SHSRCK in collaboration with the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority of Kerala (CHIAK) has conducted two day training workshop on health insurance and issues related to the implementation of Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CHIS). The main objective of the course is to impart training on various aspects of health insurance scheme and discuss the implementation issues of CHIS in public hospitals in particular. The participants of the course included Superintendents from Medical College, District and Taluk Hospital, CHIAK District Coordinators, and Public Relation Officers (PRO's). The training program was conducted under the guidance of resource persons from Institute of Public Health (IPH) Bangalore and Comprehensive Health Insurance Agency of Kerala (CHIAK) and State Health Systems Resource Centre Kerala (SHSRCK).
